What is the sponsor responsible for

Cover repatriation or deportation costs if necessary.
Pay maternity healthcare costs if agreed (NZ$9,000).
For residence visas, sponsorship includes accommodation and financial support for 24 months.
How long does sponsorship last?
For a work visa, sponsorship lasts for the duration of the visa. For a residence visa, it lasts for 24 months after the residence is granted.
