A couple came to Simon after the husband felt that his previous immigration adviser was not correctly advising him for his SMC resident visa application. He was asked to provide the wrong ANZSCO code for his role; then, when he changed to his new position, he was told he did not have to apply for a new work visa.

Hence he advised the client to withdraw the EOI which was submitted under the wrong ANZSCO code, and apply for a new work visa which was approved.
