Due to misunderstandings and family issues, this client became unlawful after losing his passport, unaware of what had happened to his resident visa. Unfortunately, he was later detained by the police, facing a possible deportation order. When the police discovered he once held a valid resident visa, they advised him to seek legal help immediately.
After finding us through Google, the client arranged a consultation with our CEO, Simon, for a Section 61 assessment. Simon advised him to wait while he obtained the necessary documents from Immigration New Zealand (INZ) to review the case accurately. With the documents in hand, Simon discovered that the client’s resident visa had expired and assisted him in preparing a strong Permanent Resident Visa application, clarifying the circumstances of his visa status. Ultimately, INZ issued a favourable decision, granting the client a Permanent Resident Visa. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, we have adopted a remote work model, streamlining our communication and services through advanced IT systems. This no face-to-face policy remains, saving both time and resources while ensuring top-notch service for our clients.
