Successful Section 61 Case 30 (Unlawful)

A client recently booked our Section 61 Assessment Service after discovering she had unintentionally become unlawful.

She had contacted Immigration New Zealand (INZ) to confirm whether she needed to apply for another Partnership-based Work Visa while awaiting her Partnership-based Resident Visa decision. INZ advised that an interim visa would cover her, similar to those waiting for the 2021 Resident Visa, so she trusted this information.
