Successful Section 61 Case 34 (Unlawful)

The client’s partner discovered our firm online, researched Simon, our CEO, and scheduled a consultation. Simon assessed the case, warning it was likely to be declined but offered guidance. Despite the risks, the client engaged our services. The application was declined as anticipated, leading to an appeal to the Immigration & Protection Tribunal. Simon prepared and submitted the appeal, which succeeded, sending the case back to INZ for reassessment.

During this process, the client’s work visa expired while she and her partner had Covid-19. Simon identified the issue and swiftly applied for Section 61, ensuring she remained lawful. The request was approved, and her resident visa is now under review.
