 Simon is the founding director of Immigration Trust and a fully licensed immigration adviser officially approved by the New Zealand Government.  He brings his experience as a migrant to NZ, excellence, and professionalism to his service for people who need immigration advice in various NZ immigration matters. Simon considers himself in the category of “boundary people”. These are the individuals who sit on the boundary of two countries; those who still maintain a connection with their home country and at the same time are completely immersed in their new, adopted society. He introduced the concept for the first time when he wrote for www.interest.co.nz. After being appointed as one of the youngest Justices of the Peace in Wellington in 2008, Simon went on to earn several notable awards. Recognised in the 2014 New Year Honours’ list, Simon received the Queen’s Service Medal due to his contribution to education. Simon represented NZ in the International Rotary Peace Fellowship 2014 and 2015. In 2013, he received a Local Hero Award and was selected as a semi-finalist for New Zealander of the Year Award. Simon received the prestigious Ako Aotearoa's Good Practice Publication Grant with his innovative initiative called "Ignite Potential". This resulted in a further “Staff Excellence Award” from Vice-Chancellor of Victoria University of Wellington in 2008. Simon is considered as a subject expert regarding NZ Immigration and shares his legal views and insights via New Zealand Media. He is also one of the experts designated by the Asia NZ Foundation. Representing New Zealand as one of the future leaders appointed by The Overseas Koreans Foundation (OKF), Simon was invited to be an emcee and gave plenary speeches for “Future Leaders Conference 2013/2014” in Seoul, Korea. Ming serves as Director on several boards including Council Control Organisation and Independent Director on one of the largest independently owned farm of about 30,000 acres. She also represents on part time basis as Head of Financial Institution, Titan NZ Funding Trust and BNZ Facilities Management Limited. Ming has responsibility for the funding vehicle for Titan NZ and to facilitate access to domestic and offshore investors for New Zealand corporates.
Prior to assuming the current position at Titan NZ Funding Trust, Ming was involved in the establishment of NAB (NZ) Limited and the BNZ Facilities Management Limited, the entity responsible for the management of BNZ RMBS and the BNZ covered bond. Ming has over 25 years banking experience as a credit controller, transactional manager and corporate client syndication manager. She is a Chartered Accountant and has a law degree. She holds ACA (NZICA), BBA (OU), LLB (AUT), PGDipAcctg (MU) and hopes to complete her MA (MU) in due course. Shan Ng has over 20 years NZ experience in contract, commercial and procurement roles within global companies and central government agencies.
A qualified lawyer in UK, Malaysia, NZ and Australia, Shan has worked as a commercial litigator and legal counsel in Malaysia and Cook Islands. Shan is also a qualified PRINCE2 practitioner and avid learner of Chinese metaphysics. Dr Sarkaw Mohammad Randhawa is Kurdish by descent and was raised in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. She arrived in New Zealand with her family at the age of 12; and proudly relates herself to a few different cultures.
Sarkaw is currently practicing as a Chiropractor, and is the Clinical Director and owner of Hillcrest Spinal Centre in Hamilton. Her educational background includes Bachelor in Para Medicine and Emergency Management, Bachelor in Chiropractic, Postgraduate Certificate in Travel Medicine (Refugee and Migrant Health), Postgraduate Diploma in Rehabilitation and Masters in Rehabilitation. She is currently working towards her PhD and is interested in the link between depression and chronic pain syndromes. Sarkaw has always had an artistic side to her – in her spare time she loves sketching, singing, copywriting, public speaking, emceeing and acting. Sarkaw is the founder of the I AM HE(R) Charitable Trust which produces short films on issues within the ethnic communities – in particular, issues that carry stigma. She also co-founded the Ethnic Business Network which is a hub of information and networking for business owners within the Waikato region. Sarkaw is a committee member of the South East Kirikiriroa Community Association Incorporated which works on providing various social services to the community in Hamilton. She is also the Deputy Chair of the Hamilton East Electorate for National Party. Sarkaw is a committee member of the Public Health Committee of the World Federation of Chiropractic with a particular focus on Women’s Health. Fang has been working in the childcare industry NZ for 16 years; She is a managing director of Feathers Early Learning Centre and Palms Preschool. She is a director of Telescope Education Ltd, a consulting company that helps people to purchase childcare business, assist manager & business owner. She also runs a mentoring program for registered teachers to gain and maintain full registration.
She guides and mentors people who want to build childcare center from scratch, in supporting of the indoor and outdoor environment to improve the day to day operation efficiency and create a high profile in their local community. She has a desire to contribute to Early Childhood Education scene in China as an instructor who was educated in NZ. She has successfully built the bridge between NZ and China which requires an understanding of two cultures as well as social capital. Adon Kumar is a Malaysian Indian and now a Kiwi. He is passionate about helping migrants to settle well and succeed in New Zealand. He is a qualified ESOL/English lecturer and taught English for Employment at Unitec Institute of Technology. Prior to his teaching career, he worked in the IT sector in New Zealand as a consultant and Professional Services Manager for Unisys, ComputerLand, Southmark and Fujitsu for over 25 years. He also worked as the CEO of Wine-Searcher.com (a world-famous NZ web-based wine price comparison company).
Over the last two decades he has helped thousands of students, migrants and clients both in New Zealand and overseas in improving their English for Academic Purposes, IELTS, Employment, NZ Workplace Communication, Accent/Pronunciation improvement and for other reasons.
