As a consultant and specialist advisor, he regularly conducts executive seminars and workshops that encourage broader conversations around international business and strategy. In addition to his consulting and academic work, Professor Ang writes a weekly column for interest.co.nz, and is a regular contributor to Fairfax Media Business, with publications appearing on stuff.co.nz, The Dominion Post and The Press. Siah is a professor at Victoria University of Wellington and holds the inaugural Bank of New Zealand Chair in Business in Asia. The Chair was established in 2013 with sponsorship from MBIE, MFAT, NZTE, and Victoria University. Born in southern China, Fay spent many years in Beijing before moving to New Zealand in 2014. She speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, bringing a unique cultural perspective that helps New Zealand businesses engage effectively with Chinese consumers. With ten years of consulting experience, Fay has developed in-depth market insights across various sectors, including large corporates, SMEs, government agencies, and NGOs. Her clients include Victoria University, Fisher & Paykel, Fly Buys, Deer Industry New Zealand, Wellington City Council, Sinopec, OPPO, Air China, Volkswagen Group, and the Financial Times. |
