Communication with students’ education provider about issues of concern
If students are reluctant to communicate with schools by themselves, regarding any issues they may have, our staff are available to talk to the school on their behalf.
Organise NCEA / Cambridge A Level / IB workshop for students
Students need to understand clearly the programmes they study. Every year, we organise programme workshops to make sure students receive sufficient information regarding the programme, and the pathway to achieve their study goal.
Â
Selection of subjects
To help students achieve their study goals, we provide advice regarding the selection of subjects, which needs to be accurate to satisfy University Entry requirements
Discussion with school teachers about student’s academic performance
Usually every term, schools will have parent information meetings and parent interview meetings. We attend these, or arrange discussion with teachers, to get first-hand information from schools and report back to students’ parents.
School report
Each year, schools will provide parents with two Student Reports. We will translate the report into the students’ parents’ home language, and communicate with the school if parents have any concerns.
Immigration Trust report
After the school’s Parents/Teachers interview, we feedback teacher’s comments to students one by one, and based on their School Report, we provide an Immigration Trust Report to parents – regarding students’ progress, performance and further study advice.
Communication between parents and school
Our staff will facilitate communication between school, parents and students whenever needed.
Further study plan advice
We will provide professional advice to help students design their study plans to meet the wishes of every individual student, and suit every individual student’s career development plan.
