This client initially sought the help of a different immigration adviser to apply for a Partnership-based Work Visa. However, because of his medical condition, he received a PPI letter from his case officer. Not confident with his previous adviser, he searched online for other licensed immigration advisers that would be able to help him in case, particularly to respond to the PPI letter that he received.
He found our firm and booked a consultation with Simon, our CEO. During the consultation, the client discussed the details of his case. After his meeting with Simon, the client felt he had more chances to be granted a work visa with help from our firm. Simon then sent him a letter of engagement, which the client immediately signed.
As soon he engaged, Simon communicated with the client’s previous adviser for the Change of LIA, at the same time requesting INZ for an extension to respond to the PPI letter sent to my client. The request was granted, and Simon had enough time to prepare the response.
As soon as all the relevant information regarding the case was provided to Simon, he wrote the response to the PPI letter, including a medical waiver request for the client’s medical condition. He supported the request with facts and evidence regarding the client’s medical condition.
After several communications with the case officer and providing all the requirements, the client finally received his partnership based-work visa. He further engaged with our firm for his residence visa application.
Note: When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, many businesses were forced to reevaluate the way they operated. For us, this meant shifting to a completely remote working model. Although this was initially difficult to adjust to, we quickly found it more efficient and practical to communicate with our clients online with our advanced IT system. So even when the restrictions were lifted, our firm decided to continue with the no face-to-face meeting policy, which saves time and money while still providing clients with high-quality service.
