For those applicants who have an EOI lodged but who have not been selected/received an ITA, will they be able to offset their EOI fee paid against the 2021 Resident Visa application fee?
Yes, they will.

How long are New Zealand Police checks taking?
The NZ Police have a commitment to process checks within 20 working days generally, noting some can’t be completed in this time for a number of reasons. From what we are seeing, most NZ Police Checks are completed within 20 working days.

Will payment of INZ application fee for Phase 2 of $2160.00 be due at lodgement stage or the final stages (as occurs with the Phase 1 applications)?
It depends on your situation. If you haven’t applied for residence under the RFW or SMC category or have an on hand EOI then you will pay a fee at the point of submission.

What is the process for those with applications for residence lodged with INZ after 29 September 2021, such as Residence from Work visa applications, that don't qualify for Phase 1? Is it going to be possible to offset the $2160.00 application fee with the $1800.00 already paid? 
Yes, these people will be eligible for a credit toward their 2021 RV and won’t be required to pay a fee up front.

Will the inclusion of immediate family details be required for the principal applicant and partner in Phase 2 applications?
This is currently being confirmed and Immigration Trust will update this when possible.
