Immigration NZ previously announced that new SMC (Skilled Migrant Category) Resident Visa Criteria would be in place before 14 August 2017. However, the implementation of the revised Skilled Migrant Category has now been moved from 14 August to the end of August 2017. As a government approved full licensed immigration adviser, we will be advised as soon as the specific date of implementation is confirmed and Immigration Trust will announce here.

Do you have any any idea when is the point system will be out. They mentioned previously this would be late June or early July but until now there isn't any one. Where did you get the information?

The minimum point for EOI selection has been increased to 160 last Oct. The new change explains at http://www.immigrationtrust.co.nz/new-zealand-immigration-news/outline-of-the-change-to-skilled-migrant-category

I already knew that, what I'm asking is that the recent blog mentioned "revised Skilled Migrant Category has now been moved from 14 August to the end of August 2017". Where is that published? Thanks.

Based on Immigration NZ, the last EOI under the current SMC policy will be on this Wed. There were no mention re the EOI selection. I would think it is to give some time for Case officers to process EOI under the current SMC, then when the new policy kicks at the end of August new EOI would start.
