Our client from China approached our firm a couple of months ago. She had a pending application with INZ for her 2021 Resident Visa. She felt that her application was taking a long time as she lodged it on 8th December of last year but there was no update after, aside from a request of National Security Check on 19th December.
During the consultation, the client told Simon all the details about her resident visa application. Simon then discussed what could be done to expedite the process and how he would approach the case. After their phone call, Simon prepared a letter of engagement for her to sign.
Immediately after she received the proposal, the client signed and paid the first instalment. As soon as we received the signed copy of the letter of engagement, Simon started communicating with INZ regarding her application.
The client worked together with Simon all throughout the process. It was the best decision to ask for the help of an expert, and she wished she had done it sooner. Simon was with her every step of the way, ensuring that all the necessary information and requirements were communicated to INZ. His knowledge and expertise were invaluable.
Finally, after months of worrying why her visa was taking so long, she received her approved visa. She can now start her new life in New Zealand as a resident.
Note: When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, many businesses were forced to reevaluate the way they operated. For us, this meant shifting to a completely remote working model. Although this was initially difficult to adjust to, we quickly found it more efficient and practical to communicate with our clients online with our advanced IT system. So even when the restrictions were lifted, our firm decided to continue with the no face-to-face meeting policy, which saves time and money while still providing clients with high-quality service.
