A client could not return home due to the Covid-19 lockdown last year and applied twice for the Covid Short-term visitor visa, which was granted in both instances. When he applied for the third time, INZ considered that he had no genuine intention to stay in NZ for a short time (non Bona Fide) and declined his visa application.
As soon as his visa was declined, he searched for multiple lawyers and licensed immigration advisers to apply for reconsideration. Still, he was not satisfied with the people he contacted for help.
When he came to us using our paid consultation service to have a detailed discussion with Simon, our CEO, the client passed the period he was allowed to apply for the reconsideration (2 weeks). Simon advised him about Section 61, and he engaged with us after their meeting. We fully refunded the amount he paid for the consultation.
As soon as he was engaged, he was advised what to prepare for his section 61 application. Simon prepared and submitted the Section 61 request himself. Finally, a few weeks after, we received the excellent news that his Section 61 request was successful, and he had a visitor visa granted for the third time. Note: He and Simon never met face to face, but they worked as a team due to our advanced IT system to bring this excellent outcome for him.
