Successful Unlawful/Section 61 case - 30

A client booked our Section 61 Assessment Service with us as soon as she discovered that she unintentionally became unlawful. 

She called Immigration New Zealand (INZ) to clarify whether she needed to apply for another Partnership-based Work Visa while waiting for her Partnership-based Resident Visa application. 

She was told she did not need to apply as she would get an interim visa which applies to the people who applied for the 2021 resident visa. Since she had the confirmation from INZ, she had to believe it. Then when she found out she became unlawful, she was frustrated and did not know what to do. 

Out of desperation, she googled to find us. After speaking to Simon, our CEO, she engaged with us for the Section 61 application which was prepared in a few weeks and submitted. Her Section 61 request was successful, and she was granted with 6 Months Work Visa.
