The INZ 1056 Entrepreneur Residence Application is the official form for experienced business owners and investors who wish to apply for New Zealand residence under the Entrepreneur Residence Category. There are two application streams:
2-Year Pathway: For applicants who have successfully established and operated a business in New Zealand for at least two years.
6-Month Fast-Track: For applicants who have operated a business for at least six months, invested NZ$500,000 or more, and created at least three permanent full-time jobs for New Zealand citizens or residents.
The INZ 1056 form requires detailed business information, investment records, job creation evidence, health and character checks, and proof of English language ability.
Entrepreneurs who have established and operated a business in New Zealand and meet the requirements of either the 2-Year or 6-Month Entrepreneur Residence Category.
What is the 2-Year Entrepreneur Residence Category?

This fast-track pathway is for applicants who have:
Run their business for at least six months
