A client sought our help after facing challenges with his work-to-residence visa application due to a past drink-driving incident. Such issues are often red flags for immigration officers and can lead to application rejections, depending on the circumstances.
We collaborated closely with him to gather and submit supporting documents for a character waiver, which was reviewed by a senior officer. Ultimately, we secured his visa approval. At the time, he was on an interim visa, with his wife and child dependent on the outcome, making it a critical case. Now, he has entrusted us with his resident visa application, including a new character waiver.
