Proving a relationship can be challenging, especially when living apart, and even more so if your partner is in a country where same-sex marriage is prohibited.

Following Simon’s recommendation, the client pursued a Ministerial Intervention. Submitted earlier this year, the application succeeded after nearly six months, securing her partner a six-month visitor visa to join her in New Zealand.
