During the Covid-19 lockdown, a client was unable to return home and successfully obtained two Covid Short-term Visitor Visas. However, when he applied for a third, Immigration New Zealand (INZ) declined it, citing a lack of genuine intent for a short stay (non-Bona Fide).
After the decline, the client reached out to several lawyers and immigration advisers for reconsideration but wasn’t satisfied with the support he found. Eventually, he booked a paid consultation with our CEO, Simon. Unfortunately, the reconsideration window had already closed. Simon advised the client on the Section 61 process and refunded the consultation fee when the client chose to engage us further. Once engaged, Simon guided the client on preparing a strong Section 61 application, which he personally drafted and submitted. Thanks to Simon’s expertise and our seamless IT systems, the application was successful, and the client was granted his third visitor visa.
