The Wellington Indian Association (WIA) is a cultural and religious organisation representing New Zealand’s Indian community, promoting traditions and offering spiritual guidance.
Navratri and the Role of Work Visas Navratri, a key festival for WIA, had been on hold due to Covid-19. In 2022, they approached us to secure a work visa for a priest and visas for musicians essential to the celebrations. Our Solution Simon, our CEO, prepared the required documents and guided the applicants through Immigration New Zealand's (INZ) process. While the musicians’ visas were approved promptly, the priest’s work visa faced delays. Recognising the urgency, Simon requested expedited processing. With Navratri scheduled from 26 September to 5 October, INZ approved the work visa just in time, ensuring a complete celebration. Adapting Post-Covid Operating remotely since the pandemic, we use advanced IT systems to provide efficient, high-quality service without face-to-face meetings, saving clients time and money. This success highlights our expertise in handling time-sensitive work visa applications.
