Dr Sarkaw Mohammad Randhawa

Immigration Trust aims to become the market leader in New Zealand’s Immigration Advisory Industry by providing exceptional services to prospective migrants and incorporating elements of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

To support Immigration Trust’s commitment to ethical and professional operations, several prominent individuals have graciously joined our Advisory Board. Their insights will guide our CSR initiatives and help ensure we maintain high standards.

While the Advisory Board holds no legal or financial responsibilities, its members serve as a valuable sounding board, offering direction and connections to support Immigration Trust’s mission.

Dr Sarkaw Mohammad Randhawa is Kurdish by descent and was raised in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. She arrived in New Zealand with her family at the age of 12; and proudly relates herself to a few different cultures. 

Sarkaw is currently practicing as a Chiropractor, and is the Clinical Director and owner of Hillcrest Spinal Centre in Hamilton.  Her educational background includes Bachelor in Para Medicine and Emergency Management, Bachelor in Chiropractic, Postgraduate Certificate in Travel Medicine (Refugee and Migrant Health), Postgraduate Diploma in Rehabilitation and Masters in Rehabilitation.  She is currently working towards her PhD and is interested in the link between depression and chronic pain syndromes.

Sarkaw has always had an artistic side to her – in her spare time she loves sketching, singing, copywriting, public speaking, emceeing and acting.  Sarkaw is the founder of the I AM HE(R) Charitable Trust which produces short films on issues within the ethnic communities – in particular, issues that carry stigma.  She also co-founded the Ethnic Business Network which is a hub of information and networking for business owners within the Waikato region.  Sarkaw is a committee member of the South East Kirikiriroa Community Association Incorporated which works on providing various social services to the community in Hamilton.  She is also the Deputy Chair of the Hamilton East Electorate for National Party.

Sarkaw is a committee member of the Public Health Committee of the World Federation of Chiropractic with a particular focus on Women’s Health.  She also works with the Chiropractic Board of New Zealand on several sub-committees such as auditing for Continuous Professional Development within the profession.

Dr Sarkaw Mohammad 
Randhawa brings to the board a wealth of experience in governance, leadership and networking.  She is particularly interested in strategic planning, communications, project management and cultural awareness and sensitivity.
