What is the Investor Programme and How Does it Work? The Migrant Investor Programme is a residence policy for people who wish to live permanently in New Zealand. It comprises of Investor 1 (those who have a minimum of NZD 10 million to invest) and Investor 2 (those who have a minimum of NZD 3 million to invest).

For this visa, you do not need to submit an expression of interest. 1) The applicant submits an Investor 1 visa application to Immigration New Zealand (INZ). 2) The application will be examined and approved. 3) INZ will issue a letter of approval and ask the applicant to invest in New Zealand. 4) After receiving the letter, the Principal Applicant can obtain a 12-month work visa to invest in New Zealand. 5) With the 12 months, the fund specified in the Approval Letter (NZD 10 million or more) needs to be transferred to New Zealand to complete the investment. You must transfer your investment funds directly from your bank account to New Zealand through the banking system. - Applicants must ensure their funds meet currency exchange and transfer requirements in place in(in or to?) China - The following organisations have previously demonstrated they have acceptable QDII products:

6) When the investment is completed, resident visa will be granted for the Principal Applicant, partner, and dependent children who are under 25 years old. (Note: There are different rules applied for terminating the dependency of the child.) 7) Permanent resident visas will be granted after meeting the requirements. Example: investing for three (3) years and a minimum stay of 88 days over three (3) years.
Requirements 1. The Principal Applicant has no age limit 2. The Principal Applicant and family members have no English requirements 3. The Principal Applicant has no business experience requirements 4. They need to prove that NZD 10 million was earned legally. 5. Children must be 24 years old or under, single and financially dependent. 6. The Principal Applicant must meet the character and health requirements. 7. The investment period is three (3) years.
Investor 2 Visa Category
Investor 2 Visa Category Process of Investor 2 visa application 1. The Principal Applicant needs to submit an expression of interest first. 2. The application will be assessed and selected based on the score system. 3. Immigration New Zealand will issue an Invitation to Apply letter 4. Within four (4) months of receiving the letter, the Principal Applicant must submit a full Investor 2 visa application with all the documents to Immigration New Zealand 5. After assessing the application and documents, Immigration New Zealand will issue a letter of approval. 6. 12 months work visa will be granted to invest the amount to NZ. 7. When NZD 3 million investment to NZ is completed, you and your family will have the resident visa. 8. When you invest the amount for more than four (4) years and meet the minimum stay requirements, you and your family will get the permanent resident visa.
