An expert on China and Southeast Asia, Siah's work builds capability in the corporate and SME business sector and assists New Zealand companies with their operations in the region. As a consultant and specialist advisor, he regularly conducts executive seminars and workshops that encourage broader conversations around international business and strategy.
In addition to his consulting and academic work, Professor Ang writes a weekly column for interest.co.nz, and is a regular contributor to Fairfax Media Business, with publications appearing on stuff.co.nz, The Dominion Post and The Press.
Siah is a professor at Victoria University of Wellington and holds the inaugural Bank of New Zealand Chair in Business in Asia. The Chair was established in 2013 with sponsorship from MBIE, MFAT, NZTE, and Victoria University.
