A male client organised an urgent phone call with Simon, our CEO. He faced one charge of injuring with intent to injure in breach of section 189(2) of the Crimes Act 1961. The maximum penalty for this offence is five years imprisonment.
His work visa was running out, and he needed to apply for a new work visa. But with this condition, he needed a character waiver. His mother was a lawyer and knew the importance of hiring the right lawyer/adviser for his case. After doing a google search, he decided that our firm is the one that can help him.
Since then, he and Simon have worked together as a team to prepare and submit his character waiver. His case officer challenged his case multiple times to ensure that he meets the character requirements under the Immigration Act 2009.
With Simon's experience and confident advice, finally, INZ accepted the character waiver, and his work visa was approved.
