In breach of section 189(2) of the Crimes Act 1961
A client was about to apply for the 2021 Resident Visa but he knew that he needed a character waiver. He had an issue with the law and faced a charge that had a maximum penalty of being in prison for 5 years for injuring with intent to injure in breach of section 189(2) of the Crimes Act 1961.
He did not want to waste more time, so when we emailed him our letter of engagement, he immediately signed and paid the first instalment. It was a very quick onboarding.
He and Simon have planned and carefully worked together to prepare and submit his character waiver. His case officer challenged his case multiple times to ensure that he meets the character requirements under the Immigration Act 2009.
