A Chinese client's previous partnership-based resident visa was declined due to the previous lawyer's failure to respond to the requests from the case officer. The communication with the lawyer was slow, and oftentimes, there was no contact at all. This happens with a lot of applicants. However, when the restrictions got lifted, our firm decided to adapt the no face to face meeting policy with all our transactions, after we found out it was more practical and efficient.
