Are you looking to transfer your valid visa to a new passport but feeling daunted by the thought of navigating the process? Save time and do it online with the new form that is available on the INZ Website.
Application for transfer or confirmation of a visa It's essential to note that visas are linked to your passport or certificate of identity. When you obtain a new passport or certificate of identity, you must transfer your valid visa to your new passport before traveling. The new form can help you transfer your visa or obtain a letter or visa label endorsement to confirm your immigration status easily. Previously, you had to visit your nearest VAC and pay service fees if you were outside New Zealand. But with the new online option, you can apply for a visa transfer from the comfort of your own home. The process is entirely online, and you can make payments (if required) and receive email confirmation when your application has been successfully submitted. The best part? You no longer need to pay any fees if you request an eVisa or confirmation letter. Don't let the transfer process stress you out any longer- apply for your visa transfer or confirmation using INZ's online form today.

Do I need a lawyer to verify copies of my old and new passports for uploading to NZ Immigration for eVisa ,for transfering of my Permanent Resident status?

Do I need to have those documents verified though? It is a must to verify?

I have visited the above noted website to arrange to transfer my permanent resident visa to my new UK passport, - but no where there does it actually show me how to actually link to the application process. Is there an email address I can make contact with to get the process started.??

Hi, I have applied online to transfer my permanent resident visa to my new passport last week. And my ticket booked on 25th December which will be next week. But I haven't got my evisa yet. Can I still travel if I can't get my evisa? before I go?

We are not certain how long it will take as it is most of the time case by the case. However, it won't take many months. We usually advise our clients to transfer the PR to the new passport as soon as the new passport issued ensure it won't hinder their travel plans.

Hi, thank you for this information. I am about to apply for Permanant Residency after the 2 years of residency. but first I had to renew my passport. Can I directly apply for permanent residency? or do I need to do this transfer of visa first? I have eVisa (no label in the passport).
